John W. Koshak

John W. Koshak ist Leiter und Gründer von Elevator Safety Solutions, Inc. und Mitglied von Elevator World, Inc.'s Board of Directors und Technical Advisory Group. Er ist außerdem derzeitiger Präsident der International Association of Elevator Consultants. Unmittelbar vor der Reaktivierung seines Unternehmens im September 2008 war Koshak als Director of Codes and Standards für Nordamerika bei thyssenkrupp Elevator tätig. Zuvor war er in der Forschung bei thyssenkrupp Research, Innovation and Design tätig. Koshak startete 1980 in der Branche bei Westinghouse Elevator Co. und arbeitete für Dover Elevator, Amtech Elevator und Adams Elevator Equipment Co., wo er Vice President of Technical Support war. Er war von 1982 bis 1991 Ausbilder des National Elevator Industry Educational Program, entwarf die LifeJacket-Hydrauliksicherheit für Aufzüge und hält mehrere Patente für Konstruktionen von Aufzugskomponenten. Koshak ist Mitglied des ASME A17 Standards Committee und ehemaliger Vorsitzender der Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation.
